Notes · from the table
Ideally about me, but be picky regardless. The standards below hold whoever you end up choosing.
There are no review sites for this, no stars, no verified badges. A woman choosing a sensual masseur in Melbourne is mostly reading tea leaves: a profile, some messages, a feeling. After five years on the giving side, here is what the tea leaves actually mean.
He asks first. Before any talk of evenings or rates, a good practitioner wants to know what you're hoping for, what's off limits, and that you're doing this freely. The chat runs unhurried, answers arrive to the question you asked, and at no point do you feel like a form being processed or a sale being closed. If you feel rushed in the messages, you'll feel rushed on the table.
Anyone doing this well tells you plainly what a session includes and where it stops, before you ask. "Anything goes" is not generosity, it's the absence of a spine. The line I use: sex is never on the menu, everything else moves at your word. Whatever someone's line is, they should be able to say it in one sentence without flinching.
Pressure about hosting when you've said you can't or won't. Demands for a deposit before you've even met. Vagueness about limits that stays vague when you push. Any suggestion that arousal creates obligation. Haggling with you, or worse, being happy to be haggled down, because someone with no floor on their price has no floor elsewhere either. And anyone who reacts poorly to being screened by you has told you everything.
The one-word stop is the real credential. Everything else is decoration around it.
In a world without reviews, standing is the reference: how long they've practised, how they write about consent when nobody's booking, how they behave in the community they serve. Read what he publishes. If the words are all heat and no steadiness, or all mechanics and no warmth, believe the words.
And when you've chosen, trust your body on the day the way you trusted your reading before it. A good practitioner will never make you spend your first ten minutes managing him. If your gut says leave, leave; anyone worth booking would rather you did.
If your pickiness points this way, begin here. If it points elsewhere, take the standards with you.
